![]() ![]() In the old version of Habbo (the Shockwave Era) the public room Theatredrome used to turn into a Halloween theatre with pumpkin vines growing around the room and darker lighting effect. This is usually accompanied by the re-release of the Halloween range each year, often with a few updates or extra items added. As Habboween is one of the most important and popular seasons on the game, Habbo release many new furni ranges (usually corresponding to horror) such as Gothic and Voodoo each year. Not every flower is used for this festive though, only Mexican Marigolds can be used for it.ĭuring the Habboween festivities, furniture and promotions are released to entice the Habbo players. Photo's of the family are being placed on an altar, this can be a table, shelf or any certain flat object, and decorated with candles, fruit and flowers. Habbo released that year a Day of the Dead Altar limited edition rare which is widely used in Mexico to remember their past loved ones. Spanish speaking countries, especially Mexico, known their own version of the Halloween celebration under the name "Dia De Los Muertos" (Day Of The Dead) which Habbo also did a campaign about back in 2014 See: Day Of The Dead. ![]() When the harvest was done and seeding for the next day was ready they could take some time for a day off, also known as the Celtic 'Samhain' It originates back to the Celtic era where Halloween used to be their New Year. The name Halloween comes from "All Hallows Eve", the night before All Saints Day on November the 1st. Halloween is a very popular holiday and especially celebrated in English speaking countries like the United States and United Kingdom. The original furniture line was called 'Halloween' and released around 2001. Habboween (contraction of the words Habbo and Halloween) is a returning habbo-wide seasonal event that starts in- and runs throughout October. ![]()
